RightToKnow – International Conference on Alcohol Labeling
The International Conference on Alcohol Labeling brings together political and industry experts together with stakeholders to discuss alcohol labeling.
The conference aims to encourage the European Commission (EC) and the Parliament to align alcoholic beverages with other food products by introducing legislation for obligatory ingredients or nutritional information listing on alcoholic beverages.
The conference is a supplementary event of Finland´s EU presidency.
The confenece takes place at Bank Auditory & Lounge
(Unioninkatu 22) in Helsinki, Finland on
October 10th from 11.30 am to 5 pm.

Arriving at the airport

[su_tab title=”Trains” disabled=”no” anchor=”” url=”” target=”blank” class=””] The easiest way to reach the city centre from the airport is by train. Trains I and P on the Ring Rail Line depart every 10-20 minutes from Helsinki Airport (Helsinki Ientoasema /Helsingfors flygplats) to the city centre. The stop is Helsinki/Helsingfors and the journey takes about 30 minutes . The station is right in the city centre and the recommended hotels. Please note that trains do not run between 01:00 and 05:00 at night.
The entrance to the train station is located in the corridor between the T1 and T2 terminals.
To travel from the Airport to Helsinki city centre, you will need a ticket to the ABC zone. Remember to buy a ticket before boarding, as tickets aren’t sold on the train. Tickets are available from:
- HSL ticket machines (at the train station entrance in the corridor between the T1 and T2 terminals, in the baggage claim hall in T2 and at bus stops)
- Alepa grocery store
- WH Smith kiosks (T1 and T2 Departures hall)
- R-kiosks (Arrivals hall 2A in T2)
- Tourist Info (Arrivals hall 2A in T2)

A taxi from the airport to the city centre takes about 30 minutes. The taxi stands are located right outside the arrival areas of the terminals. Taxis can be hailed at taxi stands or ordered by phone. Prices are fixed and shown on the meter, and both cash and credit cards are accepted. A taxi from the airport to the city centre takes around 20–30 minutes and costs around €45.

ArrIVING by ferry

Olympia Terminal is located at the South Harbour and there is a regular passenger ship link to Stockholm, Sweden. The terminal has an ATM, luggage lockers, a trolley rental, a restaurant, kiosk, and the Tallink Silja service point. Trams 2 and 3 stop next to the Olympia Terminal.

West Terminal 1 is located at the West Harbour and it serves ferries to and from Tallinn, Estonia. There is also a regular passenger ship link to St. Petersburg, Russia. The terminal has luggage lockers, a restaurant, café, kiosk, an ATM, money exchange office (open when the St. Petersburg ship is there) and the Eckerö Line, St. Peter Line and Tallink Silja Oy service points. Trams 7 and 6T stop at West Terminal 1.
